Blue Carabao is an eatery (“karinderya”) near Victoria Plaza Mall.

Its not hard to find. Because at night, you’ll quickly see the blue lights.. Plus, among the eateries in that street, its the only palce with a lot of people are eating.
It was Blogie who introduced me to this dinning place.

There are a lot of items on the menu with verrrrrry affordable prices. I ordered:
Pork Binagoongan (P35).
Lechon Kawali (P48)
Hinalang (P45)
Rice (P8)
One Manggo Fruit (P30)
All of the items that i ordered (i hope i got the prices right) are good for 2 people. (Hindi po ako malakas kumain, takaw tingin lang). I saw chicken curry (P35), but decided not have chicken.
It was my first time to eat Hinalang. Its carabao meat with HOT  ”sabaw” (due to the heat and spice- sili). In tagalog its called “Nilagang Baka” (with a twist!). It was delicious! It was served in a big bowl that can be shared by two people.
I told my officemates about it. And i was surprised to find out that they know about the place. And I asked them why they didn’t tell me about it so that i could have enjoyed great tasting but less expensive food!
So now, I have two super favorite places to eat here in Davao… First is Lachi’s, and now, Blue Carabao!
Oh, they should offer more deserts aside from fruits….
Blue Carabao is located along Sobrecarey St., near Victoria Plaza Mall.
