Blue Carabao Diner
Well we finally are up and running.It has been a lot of work,but the doors opened on the "Blue Carabao"Diner on October 1 2009 and so far the response has been great.We took all the lessons we learned from the "Blue Carabao"Eatery and brought them into the "Diner".We would put our kitchen up against any other restaurant in Davao City.You are welcome to view it at anytime you visit us.
The ceiling is a lot higher than in the "eatery" so it is a lot cooler.We have large,clean rest rooms and a nice wash station.
We have moved up one step in "food safety" by bring in the same standards as are used by the Health Department of the City of Toronto,Canada which are very strict .
We have changed to a "pay as you order"set up using a cash register that issues an "official receipt"
Bottled soft drinks are no longer available as we have switched to "fountain style" pop dispenser.This allows to ensure the quality of soft drinks which was a huge problem for us before.
Come June 2011, we will be offering hash browns,mash potatoes,french fries and a very special burger.
We want you to know that we have lots of parking,enough for 8 to 10 cars but our business neighbors who do not want to see improvements in this part of Davao City,constantly park their own cars and large trucks in our spaces to try and kill our business.But they have underestimated the "Power of the Blue Carabao" as more and more people visit us each day.
We could have opened in some other area as we have been requested to do,but we choose this part of Davao City because we feel that we can be a positive influence and set a good example for others plus it really is a great location.We are close to the all the dive shop,especially our good friends at,"Carabao Dive Center".We get the nice cool breeze coming up from Santa Anna Wharf and Magsaysay Park.This area seems to be the banking center of Davao City,so if you happen to be in the area putting some money into your savings account,stop by and pay us a visit and enjoy our new location plus give "Power to Your Peso" at the "Blue Carabao"Diner.
